Welcome to my office and staff

Hello,office 006

Thanks for searching for me.  I have been practicing in Nolensville for the past 20 years at 921 Oldham Drive.

My office hours are Monday – Thursday from 8am-5pm with lunch at Noon.  615.776.3592  if busy, try our cell or text to 615.487.3475.  I do see emergencies after hours and weekends, but please call and leave a message. I still need to do my chores as well in life.

I provide treatment to all ages, 1-101.  I am currently a contracted provider for Blue Cross/Blue Shield, United Concordia, and Delta Dental Premier.  I do accept other insurance plans.  I am not contracted to accept TennCare plans.

Please call the office if you wish us to check on your insurance plan.  Even though dental insurance companies say that you must go to a “PPO” or preferred provider, most plans have written clause that allow you to go out of network.  If you are not sure, ask for a pre-determination of work to be done.  Insurance companies will send you a letter, after submission, of the estimated payment and one’s out of pocket liability.  You might find the difference to be pretty small given convenience of being close to home.  SEE Insurance***

I know any encryption can be hacked. So I don’t ask for any personal information over email/text. We prefer a personal approach with phone calls. Thanks for your protection.

Comment on Insurance

Insurance is only one of several financial tools available to pay for medical and dental services.  There are other tools like health savings accounts.  Healthcare is a unique service that does not operate like standard business models.  Be aware that prices of services or product are set at cost of operating the business and rate of inflation as other businesses do.  As labor cost go up, so do the cost of the services.  However, the unique dental need of each patient requires individual treatment that does not always fall within an insurance companies’ policies.  That is when insurance companies may say that we, as doctors, overcharge for services.  These insurance companies are attempting to make a profit for their shareholders.   I try to keep fees as reasonable as possible to continue to operate for our community.  Thank you.

Update   1/28/25

Please review insurance policies this year.  Medicare Advantage Plans have changed how they will pay for major work.  Aetna has left TN advantage plans and Cigna has taken over most of those policies.
